2025/2026 Boys' Winter Recreation BasketballRegistration begins September 5, 2025 and closes October 10, 2025Recreation League Basketball will begin the first week of December with games and practices held at various school gyms in Dracut.
For Parents/Guardians of 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders, please note an adjustment to our recreational basketball format below. The focus for these changes is to bring more fundamentals and skills as well as a better understanding of the game as early as possible. For 2nd and 3rd grade Please sign your child up for the program you think they will benefit from and enjoy the most.
Clinic 1 is our new intro to basketball program designed for all first 1st graders as well as any 2nd or 3rd graders that are playing organized basketball for the first time or who are more interested in an introductory type setting and program. This program will have 60-90 minute Skills & Drills clinics each Saturday morning during the season.
Clinic 2 is intended for 2nd graders & those 3rd graders choosing to play on a 8.5’ baskets. Games will be 4 v 4, score will be kept and games will be officiated with a focus on fundamentals.
Freshman League will consist of 3rd and 4th graders and will be played on regulation hoops, similar to Clinic 2 in years past.
